I believe the Devils have to put their waivers in by today so they will be off by 3pm tomorrow. I assuming that either a trade is in the works or 2 Devils will be put on IR to start the season (Jagr/Teds maybe?)

I agree but we all know Lou and how he works, he might just "put" two players on IR just to buy more time before he either makes a trade or trys to "sneak" players down to Albany.

Someone has to be traded now. Think Larsson can be sent down temporarily to get more time for a move. We probably need to move at least 2 players though.

I'll be surprised if Cory Emmerton gets through waivers. He's a perfect 4th liner with upside since he's still only 25

Sounds like the reasoning behind the Blues not bringing him back a few years ago. If he could do anything effectively besides fight and make questionable hits he'd stick to a NHL roster.

I got this feeling that we are all sitting here thinking about tiny little moves we can make to get compliant with our roster that Lou has something bigger in the works guy is always looking to improve the team and he always seems to work his magic when no one is expecting it.

The guy has to be the worst skater in the entire league. I remember years back when he layed Kaberle out with a very late hit people where joking that you could hear Cam skating at you from the other end of the rink. A guy like Kaberle should never gotten himself in a position to get leveled by such a poor player

I still can't believe the Blues gave up on Bryce for Cam, straight up. Sally has his moments of ineptitude, but mostly he is a solid defender and one hell of a leader.
